Today led to a slew of changes to the schedule of assignments and due dates for ALL honors classes.  Please check School Fusion to make sure you are meeting deadlines.

On the positive side, there is a TON of symbolism in the GYOTE video "Someone I Used to Know".  See how many instances you can find.  Can you tell me why each person is painted in the colors and shapes he/she is painted in?

WELCOME to our blog!  As part of Honors English 3, you will be asked to check this blog often.  I will post what we did in class each day, important reminders, videos, quotes, information on current subjects, and a miriad of other stuff that you need to know.  You will be given opportunities to post to this blog as well (usually for extra credit).  Sit back, read, and enjoy!  And remember - RiceEnglishRocks!

Thanks to Mr. Brian Regan (comedian) for making us all laugh.  I can't tell you how many experiences just like this I had in school!  Maybe that's why I became and English teacher.  What about you?  Do you have any similar experiences with English or any other classes?
